Johnson has build a name in Arugam Bay for his surfing style & talent but also for his dedicated time to teach surfing. He quickly gain the respect of the Sri Lankan Surf community but also from Surfers coming from all over the world for the quality of his teaching, his professionalism, respect for other, the care & help he brings to his students, and his contagious passion for surfing.
His great personality brought him to be noticed by "Surfing the nations" (Non profit organisation), who took him to surf in Indonesia than in Hawaii. During this time he surfed with some of the biggest surfers in the world: as Kelly Slater, Sunny Garcia, Mick Fanning, Mark Occhilupo, etc.

Babu joined the Amigo Surf School team since Eight years where he proved to be a great team player and a great teacher. His students appreciate particularly his way of teaching, kindness, big smile, patience and good energy. It would be impossible to stay next to Babu without laughing and enjoying surfing with him.
